The Spring 2025 Powell-Edwards Lecture Series explores the interconnections among spiritual practice, scholarly inquiry and artmaking.

The first event features retired faculty member Cliff Edwards, Ph.D., and promises to be a wonderful celebration of Edward's legacy both at VCU and in the intersection of art and religion.

There will be a 5 p.m. reception, followed by the program at 5:30.

Speaker

Cliff Edwards, Ph.D., emeritus professor of the School of World Studies, is the author of several books on Vincent van Gogh, including “Van Gogh and God” and “Van Gogh's Second Gift: A Spiritual Path to Deeper Creativity."
