Join Yosef Garfinkle, Ph.D. of the Institute of Archaeology, Hebrew University, Jerusalem for an exciting journey through the eclectic and robust inscription history from the ancient archaeology mound of Tel Lachish.
Using recent and past discoveries from the stratified remains left at Lachish, Garfinkle will weave the history of writing as evidenced from the long going scribal activity at this important center located among the trade routes connecting it to Egypt and to perhaps one of the most important landmarks in the evolution of writing; the very alphabet you are reading right now.
