Undergraduate Program
VCU's undergraduate curriculum in history is notable for its flexibility, breadth and compatibility with outside programs.
Our requirements give students a global perspective, but also great power to shape their coursework according to their historical interests. Our curriculum leaves room for students to complete other majors or minors within four years of full-time study, and to pursue a capstone project suited to their specific historical interests and career goals. In addition, we have a dedicated, professional academic adviser to help you design a program of study that meets graduation requirements and suits your interests and career objectives.
